Summer is something so many people look forward to—the frizz that comes with it, on the other hand, is met with notably less excitement. “Anti-humidity sprays create a protective shield around the hair to help retain moisture and prevent frizz,” he explains. They’re able to do so thanks to the ingredients they’re formulated with. According to Morgan, the trick is to look for anti-humidity sprays infused with moisture-retaining ingredients like ProVitamin B5 (because the more moisturized your hair is, the less likely it is to seek moisture from its environment), and polymers (which are known to condition and smooth) to prevent hair from reverting back to a frizz-prone state.
