The city’s seasonal greenmarkets are sprouting up all over town. Today, two return for the summer, on Fort Washington Avenue in Washington Heights and Bronx Borough Hall.

Burn calories (and bust a move) at Brooklyn Bridge Park’s Sunset Bhangra dance party and fundraiser, which features DJ Rekha (called the “Ambassador of Bhangra” by the New York Times). Then refuel with Indian food prepared by Ditch Plains by Benchmarc Events. $25–125
