You made it to May! Yay, you! With spring here and a packed summer just around the corner, now is the perfect time to take advantage of everything this awesome city of ours has to offer—and take your workout outside. But don’t punish your wallet—check out these free May events.

Every Tuesday and Thursday morning
A New Yorker’s right to free outdoor yoga classes in summer kicks off Tuesday, May 3, thanks to Lululemon, who recruits top instructors—from Vira Yoga’s Holly Horvath 5/3 to Laughing Lotus’ Dana Flynn 5/24—and provides loaner mats. The free open-level, hour-long yoga classes are every Tuesday and Thursday in Bryant Park through September 29. Classes are weather permitting. Tuesday 10–11 a.m. on the Terrace. Thursday– 6–7 p.m. on the Lawn.

Or walk for AIDS! Registration for the annual AIDS walk is free, but the hope is that participants raise as much money as possible (the average walker raises around $275).
