My Favorite Green Juice Recipe: Courtney Paul

Green juice recipe of Courtney Paul, Barry's Bootcamp instructorYou can usually spy Courtney Paul (AKA Coco) at Barry’s Bootcamp in New York, commanding a no-nonsense, calorie-torching workout. (“Baby girl, don’t park on the treadmill!”) But every morning he also presides over his blender.

“Being a 33-year-old personal trainer and instructor for ten-plus years has taught me the importance of keeping ‘the machine’ in order, which is why I start every morning by blending a shake or juice,” he says.

Here Paul shares his favorite green drink recipe, which (be advised) contains some seriously intriguing ingredients. “It’s guaranteed to fill you up as well as supplement your body with protein, fiber, antioxidants, and a jolt of energy,” he says. And hey, the ingredients could also make a great omelet. —Sharon Feiereisen
