Each delicious ingredient in this pre-spring smoothie carries nutritional superpowers that will put a pep in your step. So we’ll be sipping it all month, and acting like winter never happened.

Blackberries are the star of this smoothie. A low sugar fruit, they’re also loaded with antioxidants that fight free radicals, lower inflammation, and even help improve memory function. (Does your 3:00 Starbucks do that?)

Avocado makes the smoothie silky and your skin glow for the new season with healthy fats and phytonutrients.

Superfood goji berries and chia seeds play best-supporting actor roles. Gojis are loaded with vitamin C and beta carotene. And omega-3-loaded chia seeds are well-known for their protein, about 4 grams per ounce.

Bee pollen helps build immunity to spring allergies. (Do not ingest it if you’re allergic to bees or think you might be!) And coconut milk rounds out the smoothie with a decadent creaminess without compromising your waistline. —Jennifer Kass
