And while you’ll be helping those who are struggling, you’ll also be treating yourself to some needed time to de-stress and look after yourself.

Through the end of the year, Sacred Sounds Yoga (Soho) is donating all proceeds from its community classes on Tuesdays at 2:00 p.m. and Saturdays at 9:00 a.m. to the American Red Cross Hurricane Sandy Relief Fund. $5, www.sacredsoundsyoga.com

Bend and Bloom (Park Slope, Brooklyn) is donating 25 percent of the proceeds from all of its weekend classes to Masbia Soup Kitchen. It provides meals for the Park Slope Armory where the city’s elderly, disabled, and other special needs hurricane victims are being transferred and housed. Reflections Yoga (Midtown West) is hosting a free community gathering with a yoga class and meditation led by founder Paula Tursi, and it includes light food and drinks.
