vegan restaurants NYCChloe Coscarelli’s By Chloe opened in Greenwich Village over the summer to unbridled vegan (and college student) enthusiasm—and it may just be turning into New York City’s biggest restaurant hit of 2015.

After announcing a second location to open in the Flatiron district in February 2016, we got some inside intel that the vegan comfort food fast-casual spot would also be setting up shop at 240 Lafayette Street (between Spring and Prince) in Soho. And lo and behold—the team confirmed the location and said they expect to have it up and running by summer.

Both expansions will have to happen while Coscarelli and her team continue handling close to 1,000 tickets per day, according to a splashy story in Grubstreet, uptown.

It should also be noted that according to Yelp, the Soho address was recently home to a now-closed 16 Handles, so locals will likely embrace the change. And hey, there will still be ice cream. It will just involve kale.Lisa Elaine Held
