Google Maps is hoping to prevent that from happening with its latest feature: telling you how long the line is at the grocery store, RetailWire reports. Rolling out right before Thanksgiving (though the tech giant hasn't committed to an exact ETA ), the app will not only tell the best way to get from point A to point B, but also how long you'll likely be waiting—using info that's crowd-sourced.
Google is already using the new technology to relay wait times for popular restaurants. The grocery shopping feature is just a step beyond. If you live near several food store options, it will help you figure out which one will be the fastest so you can get down to doing what you really want to be do: eat.
Speaking of grocery shopping, here's the mistakes even healthy people make while shopping. Keep them in mind or play it safe by stocking up on the healthiest food at Trader Joe's.
