The Neuroon Open might at first appear run-of-the-mill, but it's actually super powerful. Quite possibly the world's first intelligent sleep mask, it measures brain waves and your pulse as you're sleeping and uses that data to help you up the quality of your zzz's.
The Neuroon Open sleep mask measures brain waves and your pulse as you're sleeping and uses that data to help you up the quality of your zzz's.
And it just might work: According to Condé Nast Traveler, the mask was tested by passengers on a nonstop Lufthansa flight from San Jose to Frankfurt to help the fliers minimize their jet-lag #struggles via its light feature (and get their sleep analytics to better hack future snooze plans). Although the Neuroon Open sounds like a dream come true (had to), the mask isn't available for purchase quite yet: The company is currently raising funds on Indiegogo, and it's set to start shipping early next year for $199.
So, no, unfortunately the potential travel game changer won't help you doze like a baby during your upcoming holiday flights, but it could still be a stellar nightstand assistant for your healthy New Year's resolution of prioritizing solid shut-eye.
