During Kravitz's visit to The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon this week, Jimmy Fallon couldn't help but bring up the debacle, and Kravitz was kind enough to explain the lead-up to that fateful outfit choice. "I cannot escape this. I live in the Bahamas—I’m used to hot weather and I had to go to the store. I was buying some groceries and I thought I’d put on a little scarf to protect my throat, and that’s the scarf I had," he says. "I had no idea that there would be paparazzi...and that is now everything."
While the real-life scarf isn't "little" by any means (sorry, Lenny!), the meme that keeps on giving seems to expand the size of the accessory every year. "Here’s the thing about the internet though that's the problem—the scarf keeps getting bigger, and bigger, and bigger," he says.
No matter whether you call the garment a blanket (like Fallon) or a scarf (like Kravitz), beating the frigid temps by being cocooned in the cozy hug of a giant swathe of soft fabric sounds pretty delightful, right?
