Can you believe summer is almost here? We can’t either, but a welcome reminder that it’s close approaching and so are all the 4th of July sales and deals that kick off in honor of the season. The best 4th of July sales are hotter than a firecracker, and they span a wide range of categories—from fashion to beauty, to home and kitchen items, to bedding and mattresses, and sexual wellness products. Walmart

Whether you’re shopping for tech or home goods, shoes or apparel, you'll likely save big at Walmart, which usually has plenty on offer for discounted prices.

REI

Last year's REI 4th of July Sale was a goldmine for deals on outdoor apparel, gear, and a wide selection of shoes from Hoka, Keen, Merrell, and more. Expect up to 40 percent on clearance items.

Alex Mill

Alex Mill’s Summer Sale arrived just in time for the sweltering-hot months, with discounts up to 50 percent off on snappy button-downs, dresses, and more timeless staples that transcend seasons.

Athleta

Last year at Athleta, we stocked up on activewear, athleisure wear, swimwear, and more for up to 70 percent off for its Semi-Annual Sale.

Banana Republic

From breezy button-downs to twirl-friendly dresses and plenty of outwear, last year's Banana Republic Summer Sale slashed prices up to 40 percent off on a wide assortment of top-quality wardrobe essentials.

Everlane

The Everlane Summer Sale offered up to 70 percent off on a plethora of summer-wardrobe staples. Think: linen dresses, boxy T-shirts, jumpsuits, and more airy basics.

Girlfriend Collective

For its Anniversary Sale, Girlfriend Collective offered 25 percent off sitewide, plus up to 70 percent off sale styles, including leggings, sports bras, and athleisure wear.

Hill House Home

Last summer Hill House Home offered markdowns up to 70 percent off on its unabashedly sweet selection of dresses, skirts, blouses, and more, plus an extra 20 percent off on select styles.

Levi’s

The granddaddy of denim is offered up to 30 percent off on orders over $125 and up to 50 percent off on select sale items including shorts, jeans, and overalls.

Madewell

At Madewell’s End of Season Sale, we found a slew of dresses, pants, bags, and shoes for a fraction of the price. All sale items were an extra 30 percent off.

Old Navy

Old Navy’s Red, White, and Whoa! Sale (great name) had deals starting at just $2, plus up to 70 percent off select styles—including blouses, dresses, and, of course, flip flops. Whoa, indeed.

Aerie

Aerie offered up to 70 percent on nearly its entire collection, including its selection of swim separates for $12, bras and crop tops for $15, and bike shorts for $20.

Lively

Bras, skivvies, sleep and loungewear, and swim apparel were 50 percent off at Lively’s sitewide sale, and shoppers snagged up to 80 percent off on clearance items.

Comrad

For its 4th of July sale, Comrad offered 25 percent off sitewide on its Well+Good-beloved compression socks.

Allbirds

The Allbirds 4th of July sale is slashing up to 50 percent off its most popular shoe styles, including one option recommended by contributing writer Jamie Sanders as the ideal walking shoe for Disneyland.

Chaco

If your summer plans involve camping, hiking, or paddling, Chaco will carry you through all your adventures. For its Summer Sale, the brand offered 30 percent off sitewide.

Clarks

We saved up to 50 percent off on a huge selection of footwear from this popular and podiatrist-approved shoe brand, plus got free shipping with every purchase.

Hoka

Hoka’s sale section offers a vast selection of Well+Good-approved sneakers in myriad colors and sizes.

Vionic

Podiatrist- and Well+Good-beloved footwear brand Vionic offered up to 45 percent off on select styles, including sneakers, sandals, slippers, and more, in honor of Independence Day.

4th of July beauty sales

Dermstore

Last year at Dermstore, we snagged an extra 10 percent off on skin- and hair-care items from its sale section, plus two free gifts with orders over $200. The retailer is chock-full of items from premium brands like Dr. Brandt, Perricone MD, and MDSolarSciences.

Ulta

Ulta offered up to 50 percent off skin, hair, and makeup during the Ulta’s Big Summer Beauty Sale, which included limited-time deals throughout the sale period.

Act+Acre

Everything—and we mean everything—at Act+Acre was 30 percent off.

Avène

Team Well+Good loves Avène products—and if you do too, you’ll be thrilled to learn about its Friends and Family sale, which should be returning this summer. Last year's offer was 25 percent off sitewide.

Skin Gym

Everything at Skin Gym—including its fan-favorite face rollers—was between 20 to 60 percent off.

Solawave

Last year's sale offered up to 30 percent off on all Solawave products (with the exception of the Solawave Mini).

Adam & Eve

Adam & Eve offered up to 35 percent off any one item, including vibrators, anal toys, and more.

The discounts were deep at Babeland. We scored up to 50 percent off on an incredible variety of sex toys from brands you know and love like Magic Wand and Eve.

For its early 4th of July sale, Williams Sonoma offered up to 50 percent off on premium brands, and an extra 20 percent off its clearance selection of kitchenware, outdoor cooking essentials, and more.

Everything was on sale for 20 percent off at Brooklinen, which not only offers luxurious bed sheets, but bath towels and other home goods that are just as nice.

Buffy

Buffy offered 20 percent and more on its line of breathable bedding, sheets, and pillows that will keep you cool and comfortable while you sleep.

Coyuchi

It isn’t often that Coyuchi goes on sale, but the brand’s Summer Clearance Event offered shoppers a rare opportunity to snag its organic-made bedding, sheets, and towels for up to 40 percent off.

Cozy Earth

One thing Well+Good and Oprah have in common is a love of Cozy Earth. We anticipate savings of at least 25 percent off on most items, including the raved-about bamboo sheet set, and score free shipping on orders $50 and up.

The Citizenry

The Citizenry, known for its chic look and climate-friendly approach, ran a Summer Sale where you could score up to 20 percent off the brand’s bedding bundles, sheets, pillowcases, and more.

Parachute

Awara organic mattresses were up to 50 percent off for 4th of July, offering shoppers a welcome opportunity to save big on quality mattresses while investing in their sleep.

Nearly all of Bear’s mattresses were 35 percent off with the promo code, and to top it off, shoppers received $400 worth of sleep accessories with every purchase.
