Living in the beauty-oriented world that we do, it’s only natural to want to sample all the latest and greatest beauty products to hit the market. Whether it’s a highly-anticipated skincare launch, lipstick collection color extension, or seasonal scent, staying on top of what’s trending can feel paramount. Of course, discovering your favorite products doesn’t always require adding the newest launches to your cart. Case in point: Philosophy Amazing Grace Eau de Toilette ($36)—or, as it’s better known in the beauty industry, the #1 selling perfume in the U.S.

Since its release in 1996, Amazing Grace has wowed shoppers across the world with its delicate musky-floral blend. So much so, in fact, that Philosophy sells a bottle of the cult-favorite scent every 30 seconds. Additionally, according to the brand’s site, the layering collection—which now features not only Amazing Grace, but Amazing Grace Ballet Rose, Amazon Grace Bergamot, and Amazing Grace Magnolia—has received over 26 awards in the past 25 years.

And that’s not just a brand patting itself on the back—the reviews hold up.

“I have worn this scent for 20 years, [and] I get compliments every day," wrote one reviewer. “I used to wear different perfumes depending on my daily mood, but not anymore. Amazing Grace has been my daily perfume now since 2009. It is the most beautiful clean and feminine scent. It just lifts me up and makes me happy. Absolutely perfect to me!" said another.

It’s because of reviews like these that Philosophy continues to expand its Amazing Grace portfolio. Now, in addition to eau de toilettes and eau de parfums, shoppers can choose from a selection of Amazing Grace body products, like shower gels, firming emulsions, scrubs, lotions, and sprays. So if you’re looking for a new scent, sometimes it’s just as beneficial to look at launches from years past as it is to explore newly-launched fragrances.
