If there’s one thing I’ve learned from having acne-prone skin, it's that you don’t have to spend a fortune on products to get clearer skin. In fact, you can easily find just as many high-quality cleansers, serums, and moisturizers (many under $20) at the drugstore to address your skin-care concerns. And I have Selena Gomez to back me up on this.

The singer, actress, and founder of makeup brand Rare Beauty and mental health platform Wondermind recently posted a TikTok of her skin-care routine, taking us from cleansing to serum application. Although Gomez regularly shares her beauty secrets with fans, this time the A-lister let us in on some of her budget-friendly faves. In a caption posted on the video, she wrote, “All products I found at CVS that I’ve used this week.”

The post begins with the actress gently applying some aloe gel to her cheeks. (FYI, aloe gel has a ton of moisturizing and antibacterial properties that help soothe and hydrate irritated skin.) She then follows up with a few offerings from derm-approved brand, Neutrogena.

The first to appear is the Neutrogena Hydro Boost Cleansing Gel ($8), which is basically a tall glass of water for anyone with dry skin. It has a high dose of hyaluronic acid that helps to nourish your skin and preserve its moisture. Plus, it’s 100 percent non-comedogenic, so you don’t have to worry about it clogging your pores if you have sensitive skin.

Afterward, she applies some Vichy Pureté Thermale Toner ($18) to clear away makeup and pats in some Caudalie's Resveratrol-Lift Eye Firming Gel Cream ($59) under her eye. And the final Neutrogena product is the Bright Boost Illuminating + Brightening Serum With Turmeric ($26).It's formulated with powerful ingredients like Neoglucosamine® and turmeric which help to reduce dullness and dark spots.

All with the exception of the Caudalie gel cream, every product is under $30. So, if you're hoping to find a skin-care routine that won't break the bank, take a page from Gomez's book.
