Why is it that French girls always have me helplessly searching for that elusive je ne sais quoi? I’ve been mystified by their workout style and have obsessed over their accessories, but I’ve finally found a great equalizer: skin problems.

Google took a deep dive into search terms this year and found that when it comes to skin care, French women are just as susceptible to clogged pores and blackheads as their non-French counterparts. The blackhead mask, or “masque point noir,” is the number one “rising star” search term in France.

So for clogged-up French (or not!) women out there, here are six masks that will do the trick.

The 6 face masks below are designed for serious skin-clearing.
