If you’re unfamiliar with Maude, the brand has been quietly (and stylishly) changing the conversation around sexual wellness since its launch in 2018. With beautifully designed essentials—from vibrators to lubes to bath salts—Maude’s mission has always been clear: to make intimate care simple, inclusive, and essential. Now, the brand is expanding into the world of supplements with its newest launch, Base—and we got the exclusive first look.
Officially launching tomorrow, May 15, Base is a science-backed daily supplement formulated for all people and all bodies. Whether you're taking it for prevention, confidence, or daily care, Base is designed to support your whole-body health—especially in those not-so-glamorous but oh-so-important areas, like gut balance, immune function, and perhaps most excitingly, urinary tract health.
Base supplement ingredients, at a glance:
- PaCran Cranberry Extract (500 mg): Clinically shown to reduce the risk of recurrent UTIs
- PreforPro (15 mg): A targeted prebiotic blend that supports gut and digestive health
- Probiotic Blend (3 Billion CFU): Helps maintain a healthy microbiome
- Vitamin C (30 mg) + Zinc (5 mg): A solid dose of immune support
Maude was kind enough to send me an advanced mailer with Base supplements, so I’ve been taking them for a couple of weeks now—two capsules a day, as directed—and I’ve noticed the biggest improvements in my digestion, immunity, and overall energy. My digestion and mood can often be all over the place throughout an average month and cycle, but I have definitely felt more balanced and less bloated. And as someone who’s pretty prone to UTIs, I’m especially excited about the long-term benefits of the cranberry extract. While I can't say that it has 100% prevented me from getting a UTI, I can say that I have been free from both a UTI and those early uncomfortable symptoms, so I'm taking that as a win!
While you may start to feel some shifts in the first month or so, Base was specifically formulated for internal support, which means the effects may be subtle at first and build over time. The brand recommends taking the supplements for one to two months at least to feel the full effects, and I'm only on week three. Like with any supplement, it’s smart to check with your doctor before adding it to your routine. I did experience a little stomach adjustment—another fun thing I'm prone to—the first few days (which is typical when adding probiotics), but that passed quickly.
Overall, I'm excited to keep taking this and am jazzed to get so many benefits from one supplement. If you’re looking to feel better from the inside out—and want to get ahead of those all-too-familiar UTI symptoms—Base might just become your new favorite ritual. Add it to your cart today to get ahead of the launch tomorrow and say goodbye to UTIs.
