The New Halle Berry x Sweaty Betty Collab Just Launched, and It’ll Sell Out Immediately Like Last Time

The last time Halle Berry and Sweaty Betty joined forces, the pieces from the first collaboration sold out in the first 24 hours and now there's a whole new line of them (a sequel, if you will). Today, Sweaty Betty launched its second collaboration with Halle Berry and her wellness brand, Re/Spin—and it's everything we wanted and more.

As long time lover of Sweaty Betty's Power Legging, the Academy Award winner's first partnership with Sweaty Betty (that launched in May of this year), came as no surprise. That 22-piece collection was the perfect solution to post-quarantine transitional dressing and featured styles that ranged from jumpsuits to sweatshirts and leggings. This second launch subscribes to a similar studio to street vibe with an added mix of winter lounge and outdoorsy wear. That said, besides looking great and performing well, no matter what workout, activity, or adventure your days have in store, what makes this collaboration one for the history books is the message that both brands hold sacred. Check it out here:

Berry launched Re/Spin as an accessible digital content and commerce platform in 2020 to help inspire women through health and wellness. The resource's pillars are to "connect, nourish, strength, awaken, give, and eternal," according to the brand's site. Take that and pair it with Sweaty Betty's mission to empower women through fitness and you find a perfect duo.

According to Jemma Cassidy, Sweaty Betty's Chief Product Officer who worked closely with Berry on the pieces, Berry "is really inspired and connected to nature and this was the basis for the second drop. The softness and strength found in nature influenced our choices in fabric, bringing the two together in a modern way."

This collection celebrates the natural and the effortless—an approach to dressing and style that many of us know well after spending the better part of a year wearing athleisure (or pajamas), while working from home. What differentiates these pieces from the first collaboration line are the textures and accents. The 25 unique styles feature "mesh inserts, soft utility details, exaggerated silhouettes, and feminine cut lines...Geometric forms, plaids and natural abstract wood patterns and compliment the grounded color palette of earth tones: soft greens, warm creams, and deep blacks," explains Cassidy.

And keeping in mind the natural aesthetic, the pieces also care for the earth that inspired them, using recycled down and polyester and organic cotton for most of the styles. As a bonus, the Athena zip though, bra, and legging are also made from Sweaty Betty's newest fabric, Super Soft. The exclusive material is supremely soft and cozy (like the name says), supportive and squat-proof while being very breathable, and is sweat-wicking. Are you sold yet? And if so—you better getting shopping quickly.
