A “Devil Wears Prada” Sequel Is Coming—and This Time Athleisure Is Involved
Before The Devil Wears Prada became one of the best movies of all-time—hey, just stating the facts—starring Anne Hathaway and Emily Blunt, it was a best-selling novel written by former Vogue staffer Lauren Weisberger. Now, Weisberger is gifting the world with a sequel—this time all fiction and focusing on everyone's fave supporting character, Emily Charlton. The name of the book that's about to be added to your reading list? When Life Gives You Lululemons.
Coming out June 5, 2018, the book follows Emily, now a high-profile image consultant from Manhattan to the suburbia of Greenwich, CT. In turns out that the clients Emily gave up her fun, New York life for are all more interested in athleisure than knee-high Chanel boots. (Of course! Leggings obsession is real.). And you can guess that the party scene is a little different in Greenwich than it is in Manhattan.
How will she cope? Will she be wearing Athleta and Adidas by the end? This is one culture clash that's going to be fun to watch.
