The first layer is Cocoon’s Perfect Fit memory foam, which contours to your body size and shape. It even accounts for your sleep position, maintaining your comfort as you move through the night. The second layer is cushioning support that reduces motion transfer so you and any sleeping partners don’t disturb each other and prevents that sinking feeling that can happen with foam mattresses. The third and thickest layer is the essential support layer, which is engineered from heavier, more robust foam that’s designed to be durable and resilient.
All three layers of foam are encapsulated in a stretch-knit cooling cover that’s infused with “phase change material” that absorbs and dissipates heat as you sleep. Plus, it can re-release stored heat if it gets too cool during the night. If you get super hot at night, opt to add the Extra-Chill technology for an additional $200. This adds an additional layer of foam on top that’s infused with the phase change material found in the cover.
