Virgo (August 23–September 21)
The New Moon on the 5th may have you and all 12 signs feeling sensitive to criticism. Don’t allow a pity party to happen. Instead, let what in the end is a very auspicious time to set a new course on improving your body and your finances. You will need to offset any moments of fleeting depression this month by showing compassion for others—and be willing to be of service for others. Libra (September 22–October 22)
Many times we behave like our opposite sign. And, as the month opens, many may mistake you for being an Aries as you become impatient and petulant over a situation that will be resolved by the middle of the month. The powerful New Moon on the 5th is best served as a reminder to be patient and quietly go within. The second half of the month will be much smoother sailing and presents the possibility of a very decent proposal. Towards the end of the month, as the planets push you into an intense social life, let your Venus beauty shine bright in group exercise classes.
Scorpio (October 23–November 22)
Although the powerful moon on the 5th advises that you call a friend in need, you must remember the old adage “help someone you earn a friend, help someone too much and you make an enemy.” September 19th’s Full Moon in Pisces can awaken creative abilities. If you have children, smooth over any problems you may have with them. Make sure you take care this month with being accident prone as the planets have you simultaneously hitting the gas and the brakes. Sagittarius (November 23–December 21)

Both lunar events are asking to you to let go of ego and help others. On the 5th it’s about aiding coworkers and, on the 19th, your family. This month is an excellent time to begin training for a marathon or pushing your limits on the treadmill. Your sign dominates track and field, so this month, R-U-N is not a question.
Capricorn (December 21–January 20)
September is not the month for you to be alone. Although you function quite well in solitude, the planets are urging you to be social, seek new alliances, and know that getting involved in group projects will be very beneficial for your finances. Making plans for continuing education may be an option around the 5th. And on the 19th, if you have a sibling or a neighbor that needs help, be there for them unconditionally. As for looking after yourself and your skin, don’t hesitate to treat yourself to a spa treatment or facial.
Aquarius (January 21–February 18)
You may find yourself humming “Money’s Too Tight to Mention” on the 19th, as the Full Moon demands that you address your finances and initiate a new budget. This month, as the pace of your life picks up considerably, take care of your nervous system, your natural weak spot. Helping others is the theme for all of us this month. Pisces (February 19–March 20)
The Beatles classic record “We Can Work it Out” is your theme song all month, as you’re given a wonderful opportunity to love again or repair a damaged relationship. The New Moon on the 5th (in your opposite sign, Virgo) is very auspicious and opportunities abound for improving your relationships both platonic and romantic—and with yourself. The Full Moon on the 19th is about taking control of your life, getting in your best shape yet, and not playing the victim.
Aries (March 21–April 19)
Without question, this month is the perfect time to begin a new diet and workout plan. You’re a natural powerhouse, but the planets are admonishing you and making it perfectly clear that excessive behavior with food and drink must end. Let the Full Moon on the 19th guide you to inner peace by being of service to others. Along with Capricorn and Taurus, you are the red meat eaters of the Zodiac, which can make you prone to fatigue. So let the New Moon in Virgo on the 5th find better sources of energy with fish, smart carbs, fruits, and lots of leafy greens.
Taurus (April 20–May 20)
Both the New Moon and the Full Moon this month have healing energies that will prompt you to address old wounds. On the 5th explore creative writing or a music class. Gemini (May 21–June 21)

All month, true to your nature, you will be moving about at a breakneck pace and If you travel for work expect several short trips. Be careful with love on the run and love games; September may find you struggling to connect heart with mind. Restorative yoga and meditation all month are key to your well-being.
Cancer (June 22–July 21)
September may be your best month of the year as romantic relationships improve this month. And if you’re single, a new one comes into light around the 11th. You also get a boost with money, just be careful with excessive spending and overeating. The entire year has you expanding your horizons and reaping the rewards of hard work. However, don’t get too comfortable or complacent or else you may find the inches on the waist line reappear. Leo (July 22–August 23)
Stress over money issues, especially around the 5th and the 19th, may have you neglecting your workouts this month. Don’t.
