Those numbers beg the question: How is a piece of avocado toast cheaper than an actual avocado? But also, Where can you get a $2 avocado toast?
With a toast price ceiling of $18, the average piece in the US comes in right around $7. (Overall, the survey says, Americans are spending $900,000 a month on the healthy-fat-fueled snack. Guilty!)
