What Kristen Bell Wants You to Know About Celebrity Breakups

Don't worry, she and Dax are *fine.*
When news broke earlier this week that beloved Hollywood couple Anna Faris and Chris Pratt were ending their relationship, the world let out a collective gasp—and possibly shed a tear or two. If you felt heartbroken over the announcement, you're not alone: Kristen Bell says she feels your pain, but has a bit of good breakup advice to share.

Instead of being bummed, "you should say, 'Oh, they tried. But that doesn't discount the lovely years they had together," the actress tells E! News.

"That doesn't discount the lovely years they had together."

In addition to offering up a new mantra for your gratitude practice, Bell also revealed some insight into how she and husband Dax Shepard maintain a healthy marriage. "We go to couples therapy," she says. "We make sure that we're talking with respect to each other. When we sit down to have a disagreement, it's a disagreement, not an argument. She also admits that it's "really hard" and takes work—and that celebrity culture isn't to blame so much as intense work schedules.

"The reality is when you're working in this industry, you're sometimes shooting a movie in China for four months," she says. "You're away from your family. I think it's more the separation than anything that can weigh on people."

Just one more reason to master that healthy work-life balance.
