Athleta stores look for local trainers and yogis to represent the brand at a neighborhood level. But the fitness clothing company also features fit-and-fabulous women on a national scale—through its “Power to the She” sponsored athlete program—and the brand is currently accepting applications for 2013 through October 1, 2012.
Sponsored athletes get a brand-new fitness wardrobe (of course!) and the chance to write about their workout exploits on Athleta’s Chi Blog for a year. Beyond that, the company says,”We work with each athlete to build a relationship that showcases her expertise in a way that’s most relevant to our online and real-world communities.”
