How to *Actually* Pull Off That Radiant No-Makeup Makeup Look (and Get Everything You Need at Target)

Your goal is to look "I just woke up like this" gorgeous with just a few dabs of concealer, but your reality usually leaves you looking a little too "I just rolled out of bed." Truth: The whole no-makeup makeup look is harder to master than it seems, so what's the secret?

We teamed up with cool-girl conscious beauty brand W3LL PEOPLE (which, FYI, pretty much invented the no-makeup makeup look with its organic, plant-based power products) to show you how it's done.

From concealer that doubles as eye cream (because dark circles really throw a wrench in your fresh-face plans) to mascara that actually conditions your lashes, every product works double duty to make you look your dewiest and your skin feels its healthiest.

The best part? You can find all of these premium gems at Target—which is a major score for convenience and your wallet. Your next Target run just got glow-ier.

Step 1: Complexion

Prepping your face for makeup is especially important when you're going for an au natural look (caking and creasing are dead giveaways that you spent more than five minutes in front of the mirror).

Start by cleansing, then create a nourished base by mixing one or two drops of hydrating serum into your tinted moisturizer (you can use the back of your hand as a palette) and applying to your entire face with your fingertips.

The algae and rose hip oil in W3LL PEOPLE's Bio Booster Serum brightens and corrects uneven skin tone, while pure zinc in the Bio Tint Multi-Action Moisturizer provides SPF 30 sun protection and acts as a primer so makeup slides on smoothly.

Next, dab concealer on any blemishes, under-eye circles, or problem areas (Bio Correct Concealer actually helps heal blemishes and de-puff eyes, too). Finally, top with a buildable foundation like Narcissist Foundation to your desired level of coverage, and voila: you've got a flawless, natural-looking complexion.

Step 2: Glow

You could stop after step one for a totally minimalist look, but to take the glow factor up a notch, add on some bronzer and highlighter.

Blend a cream highlighter onto the bridge of your nose, crown of your forehead, and tops of cheekbones using your fingers or a foundation brush. Set with a translucent powder like Bio Brightener Powder for a totally illuminated look that will last all day.

For a sun-kissed contour, use a densely packed kabuki brush to apply a dusting of powdered bronzer in a C-shape from the bottom of your cheekbones and upward to your temples. Just remember less is more!

Step 3: Finishing Touches

Pull it all together (and add a little glam factor to the look) with some optional extras—depending on your mood, or how late you are for brunch.

Keep things simple with a multitasking cream stick that can be used as eyeshadow, blush, lipstick, or all of the above, or go big with some super-shiny lip gloss for a photo-ready pout.

Then, make your eyes pop with a smudge-proof liner and a swipe of black mascara (which uses organic beeswax and sunflower seed oil to nourish lashes and encourage growth).

Pro tip: When drawing on the liner, use several short strokes instead of a single long one to help keep the line where you want it. Because nothing says overdone like unevenly thick eyeliner.

Once you've completed all the steps, snap a selfie (total requirement for any flawless makeup look). Who knew that elusive effortless look could be that easy?
