Audience Development Associate

The ideal candidate for this role will be excited about learning the ins and outs of how to grow brand audiences and to collaborate on a growing, dynamic team and brand. This person will work directly with the Audience Development Lead and Social Media Associate. Amazing communication, analytical skills and willingness to learn are key to being successful.

We’re looking for someone who is excited about crunching numbers one day, pinning content to the Well+Good Pinterest account the next day and who is passionate about the health and wellness movement.

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of relevant work experience
  • You are highly passionate about the Well+Good brand mission and everything that encompasses the health and wellness movement
  • You are self motivated, take initiative and are communicative
  • You are able to work independently and are proactive when necessary, troubleshooting any issues that arise, but are not afraid to reach out when you need more guidance or clarity
  • You are detail and results oriented – i.e. lists, spreadsheets, formulas, social media analytics excite you
  • You live digital media and understand the landscape and how people explore and digest content within it – focus on social media and content websites
  • You are always willing to pitch in for any task – large, small or administrative – and consider yourself a team player
  • You have experience using Google applications, proficient in Microsoft Office suite and Keynote
  • Have experience/familiar with social media platforms like Pinterest

Client Services Manager

The Client Services Manager role is crucial to ensuring the success of digital advertising campaigns from initial ideation through implementation and delivery. The client-facing role includes daily communication with Editorial, Marketing, Operations, and Sales to ensure RFP media plan creation, insertion order generation, optimal campaign management and performance, and client retainment.

This is an integral position within an integrated media company. It requires attention to detail, critical thinking, enthusiasm, organization, resilience, self-discipline, self-motivation and the ability to communicate clearly and effectively. The position also requires an analytical and logical thinker with the conviction to meet problems head-on and solve them accurately and quickly.

Responsibilities:

  • Effective and timely fulfillment of pre and post sale goals
  • Ensuring clients and internal sales teams are receiving exceptional customer service
    and support
  • Translating brainstorms between Sales and Marketing into accurate and compelling media plans
  • Meeting error free media plan creation deadlines
  • Campaign Event project management
  • Schedule and lead internal campaign kick off meetings
  • Active participant in external campaign kick-off calls to outline assets, deliverables, deadlines, and approvals.

Graphic Designer

Do you have a strong design background and a rich understanding of photography, typography, color, and brand positioning? Are you utterly obsessed with wellness culture, news, trends? Well+Good is hiring a graphic designer to work with us in our sunny Flatiron headquarters. You would have a key role in our growing design department and work very closely with the rest of the W+G team.

Responsibilities:

  • Ability to take direction on concepts and design, and implement them to final output
  • Ability to create visual designs in the form of editorial/social graphics, display ad campaigns, event signage and print collateral
  • Ability to work on multiple projects with quick turnaround times
  • Ability to work well in a collaborative, fast paced atmosphere
  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently, ensuring all projects are delivered on time

Qualifications:

  • Strong portfolio required
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 3+ years of experience working for a lifestyle publication (ideally digital) and/or in brand marketing/advertising
  • Mastery of the latest creative software, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat) as well as Microsoft Office and other creative programs
  • Great visual and typographic sensibility

Senior Digital Editor

Well+Good, the premier lifestyle and news publication dedicated to the wellness scene, has an immediate opening for a full-time editor, based in its airy and light-filled New York offices, where there may also occasionally be free green juices and coffee. This is not a remote position.

The editor will be responsible for primarily editing news and features articles. The ideal candidate will have a passion for health + wellness, as well as experience working at an online lifestyle site. This is a fast-paced editing role. It requires stepping into the flow of a news room, and working alongside a smart and passionate editorial team.
The ideal candidate should also be positive, extremely organized and adept at working under tight daily deadlines. This is the perfect opportunity for an editor who cares about wellness and journalism in equal measure.

Required experience:

  • Editing: 4 years as a top editor, news/features editor, or copyeditor

Responsibilities:

  • Edit articles and branded content (last eyes on copy)
  • Practice high standards of journalism while writing with with wit, humor, and style
  • Adopt and teach the Well+Good editorial voice
  • Compose and edit branded copy or social media, as needed

Director of Sales

Well+Good, the leading health and wellness media company, is seeking an outstanding digital advertising leader to run our sales team, drive top line revenue growth with key accounts, and to work with multiple teams within the company to innovate on product offering, pricing, and additional revenue streams.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead, mentor and manage three (3) sales reps
    • Lead 1-on-1s and weekly sales meetings
    • Facilitate introductions, particularly in digital world
  • Oversee scaling of organization: optimize commission policy and “territory” structure, systems and technology, reporting, materials, products and pricing, etc.
  • Assign inbounds and new prospects to reps
  • Approve pricing changes/requests
  • Personally drive revenue from key brands and agencies
  • Work with marketing and founders to develop innovative “signature” advertising programs

Qualifications:

  • 7-10 years of digital advertising sales, with focus on selling custom content and integrated campaigns
  • Managed team of 3+ sales reps
  • Proven go-getter with ability to meet and exceed sales quotas
  • Strong relationships with advertising agencies and national advertising clients
  • Experience selling integrated programs (more than just banners) including events, custom content, etc.
  • Familiarity with programmatic trends
