Khaled, who's known for an extremely quotable and uplifting presence, joins Weight Watchers as a social media ambassador at a time when the company has evolved from a diet brand into a wellness lifestyle—and most recently revamped its well-loved points system as part of its Freestyle campaign, That amounts to a lot of publicity for the company: Khaled has 3.9 million followers on Twitter, 3 million to 4 million views per Snapchat, and 8.9 million followers on Instagram.
DJ Khaled took to his Twitter account yesterday to share that he's already lost 20 pounds on the Weight Watchers Freestyle program.

This addition to the Weight Watchers team probably means big rebranding progress for the company—but could it also mean a collaboration between the record producer and Winfrey on an upcoming mix? Who wouldn't listen to that at the gym?
