Even though Black Friday shopping no longer requires throwing elbows and it can all be done (safely!) in your PJs at home, it still helps to have a game plan. While many shoppers focus on big ticket electronics, Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals are also a chance to stock your kitchen with the gadgets you’ve been wanting but haven’t been able to shell out for, or replacing and upgrading the beloved tools that you use every single day.

Want some inspo? Here, Jackie Newgent, RDN, culinary nutritionist and author of The Clean & Simple Diabetes Cookbook, shares the items that are on her Black Friday and Cyber Monday shopping list. Use her picks to help craft your own wishlist—or get in on the deals she’s sharing here.

Check out how a dietitian shops the best Black Friday and Cyber Monday kitchen deals:

1. Air Fryer Toaster Oven, $80

Normally $180, Best Buy is knocking $100 off the price of this buzzy cooking tool, which happens to be on Newgent’s wish list. “I’m so excited about the new toaster ovens that have air fryer functions,” she says. She thinks this one could be an excellent replacement slash upgrade for her current “ancient” toaster oven that needs to be replaced. Air fried eggplant parm, anyone?

2. OXO Kitchen Supplies, $9-$15 each

“Since I’m in my kitchen all the time, personally and professionally, at least once a year I replenish any overly-used cooking utensils in my supply—and sometimes add on to it,” Newgent says. This year, she spotted a deal at Bed, Bath, and Beyond she fully plans on taking advantage of: a $10 gift card with every $30 purchase of OXO kitchen items, plus free shipping on orders over $39. Three items she plans on buying: new kitchen tongs ($15), 3-piece funnel set ($9), and a can/bottle opener ($15).

3. KIND Snacks holiday snack box, $40

Newgent, who is a spokesperson for KIND, says she plans on stocking up on these bars to share with loved ones for healthy holiday treats. “When visiting my teenage nephews over the holidays, they count on me bringing a stash of them,” she says, adding that she’s really into the big snack boxes the brand is coming out with for the holidays. “It’s an easy way for me share these healthy and tasty snack bars with my nephews—and for this proud aunt to feel good about their snacking.” This Thanksgiving weekend, KIND is offering 20 percent off orders of $40 or more from kindsnacks.com, with the code: KINDTHANKS.

4. Le Creuset stew pot, $150

What cooks don’t lust over Le Creuset’s iconic cookware? “The biggest Le Creuset deals are actually already happening,” Newgent says. One Le Creuset stand-out healthy chefs are sure to love: the stew pot, which is a whopping $100 off.

potato masher

5. Food Network Tux potato masher, $14.99

“When I visit family for the holidays, I often find myself to be the chosen cook,” Newgent says. “I have had to mash far too many potatoes with a fork. This year, I’ll be gifting a potato masher—just in case!” Kohls.com is offering 15 percent off this Food Network-branded one until November 29 with the discount code GIVETHANKS.

6. Casabella guac-lock, $23

“I have a friend who often complains about her guacamole going ‘bad’ too quickly. I think she’ll love Casabella’s clever guac-lock,” Newgent says. “It’s BPA free, has an airtight seal to keep guacamole fresh longer, and she can serve from it.” Casabella is offering 20 percent off *everything* from November 29 through December 1st.

7. Snapware 10-piece glass and metal meal prep containers, $24

If you’re using to gifting friends and fam homemade meals throughout the year, like Newgent does, you’re often familiar with the problem of never having enough storage containers. She also uses them to keep her pantry organized, further diminishing her supply. “It seems the more glass containers I buy for food storage, the more I need,” she says. “Adding ten more containers to my supply will come in handy—especially since I’m a fan of saving leftovers and creating something clever with them. These ones are fridge, freezer, microwave, and dishwasher safe.” This Snapware set is on sale at Macy’s: a whole 40 percent off with the code SCORE until December 22.
