There's nothing that says peak fall quite like wrapping your hands around a steaming latte and snuggling into your favorite hoodie. The quickest way to bring that dreamy image back to reality? (Insert record scratch noise.) Realizing said latte is actually loaded with sugar.

But don't swear off fun, seasonal drinks just yet. We found a hack that'll let you have your hygge-inspired beverages, and actually drink them, too. Vital Proteins new Collagen Creamer is the alt-milk powder of your wellness-ified dreams—and, you guessed it—it's got next to no sugar (just one gram per serving).

Instead of the sweet stuff, the powdered creamer is loaded with creamy organic coconut milk and grass-fed, pasture-raised collagen, so you're supercharging your morning coffee without having to pull 12 different containers out of your pantry every time you want to make a cup.

In the official Well+Good taste test, the Mocha flavor came out on top, especially because you can turn any old cup of joe into a fancy mocha latte with just two scoops of Collagen Creamer and a few spices.

1. Consider your beauty #goals

Walk into any beauty store and you'll find shelves stocked to the brim with products that boast their collagen-promoting properties. But one of the best ways to up your intake of the beauty booster naturally is to go straight to the source.

Because it is the most abundant protein in the body, healthy collagen production is directly connected to healthy hair, skin, and nails. So if your nails are feeling brittle or your hair is feeling dry (winter, is that you?) it could be a sign that you could use a bump in collagen.

2. Get your protein fix

Whether your workout of choice is spin, yoga, or a boot-camp class, odds are you could benefit from upping your protein (especially if you're about that plant-based life).

With 10 grams of protein per serving before you've even had breakfast, using Collagen Creamer puts you well on your way to the 75+ grams of protein recommended for the average active woman. And if #gains are your goal, you know that protein is king not only for helping with muscle growth, but also for feeling satiated throughout the day. See ya, snacking.

3. Score an extra energy boost

Not only will you get a pick-me-up from the caffeine in your java, you'll also get a sustained level-up in energy from the natural MCTs in the organic coconut milk powder—no greasy coconut oil required.

For a quick refresher course on MCT: It stands for medium-chain triglycerides, which is a type of fatty acid that's easily metabolized by the liver, so it delivers a quicker hit of energy than its long-chain cousins (and is what gives MCTs their brain-fog-busting reputation).

Even better than the potential for less brain fog? Because Collagen Creamer doesn't have any added sugar (or any artificial ingredients, for that matter), you also won't get the sugar crash that comes with slurping up a drink your barista would whip up (psst: dairy has a lot of natural sugar too! Twelve grams in one cup of whole milk).

But because Collagen Creamer comes in natural flavors like mocha, vanilla, and gingerbread, you can still recreate your seasonal favorites, sans the crash.  Ready for a cuppa?
