It’s not often that you hear about a celebrity who’s totally not stressed about showing up to a photo shoot with a massive pimple. But Margot Robbie doesn’t sweat that scenario. “I don’t even worry anymore because with Photoshop these days…they’re gonna airbrush it out,” she admits to Elle UK.

That doesn’t mean the actress rocks breakouts with pride. When filming, it’s tougher to hide imperfections like cystic acne—but Robbie knows just the trick to keep her skin radiant. Unsurprisingly, it involves cutting an inflammatory food.

“If I eat or drink heaps of dairy, my skin breaks out.”

“If I eat or drink heaps of dairy, my skin breaks out,” reveals Robbie. That’s not to say it’s easy for her: “I love dairy and I have it all the time, but if I’m filming or if my skin is really shit, then I try to cut down and just drink lots of water.”

She’s not the only celeb who has cut the milky stuff—Alicia Keys also credits the dairy-free life with clearing up her complexion, and Jessica Biel has ditched it for better digestion. (I’m no celeb, but removing it from my diet has stopped my acne, too.)

Of course, that doesn’t mean slip-ups are out of the question. “I pretend cheese isn’t dairy because I will never accept that I can’t have it,” admits Robbie. “I love it.” Hey Margot, may we suggest a nice vegan Gouda?

There’s more advice where that came from: Robbie also has a secret for better sleep (featuring beer). For more clear skin intel, this is your definitive guide for getting rid of acne
