Product Manager

In this role, you’ll work with a variety of teams at Well+Good to create engaging, on-brand sponsored content for a variety of partners. This person will work directly with the branded content editor, as well as collaborate with multiple teams across Well+Good. The ideal candidate is excited about the native advertising landscape and has creative ideas for incorporating brands’ objectives seamlessly into Well+Good.

Responsibilities:

  • Work in conjunction with executive team and cross-functional teams to lead product definition and roadmap
  • Define and analyze metrics needed to make informed decisions about new products and existing product roadmaps
  • Create functional specifications, including success metrics, user experience flow, wireframes, development needs, and timelines based on business requirements.
  • Manage/oversee development resources and freelancers to ensure branding, deliverables and architecture align with our roadmap & main business goals (such as reader engagement, email subscriber acquisition, email engagement and deliverability, SEO traffic growth, ad viewability, etc.).
  • Perform QA on new features and develop training plan for any internal team members who may use new features (editorial staff, ad operations, etc.)
  • Oversee the execution of sponsored content campaigns (i.e. templates for custom content destinations, custom ad units, video player, etc.)
  • Responsible for ensuring general website health (pagespeed load time, uptime, keeping up to date with things like Google AMP pages and Facebook Instant Articles) and email health (email deliverability, list scrubbing, etc)

Qualifications:

  • Excellent project manager who can effectively take creative ideas and concepts and translate them into time-bound, executable product features delivered on time
  • 4-7 years of experience at a digital company in product or digital production
  • Solid grasp of web design principles and a good understanding of web technologies; experience in HTML and CSS a strong plus, but not required
  • Experience working with Jira, Basecamp, Asana, WordPress, Mailchimp, and Brightcove Video Player a plus
  • Experience working with online advertising and branded content campaigns a plus
  • A working knowledge of media trends, ad tech, and industry innovations

Assistant Branded Content Editor

In this role, you’ll work with a variety of teams at Well+Good to create engaging, on-brand sponsored content for a variety of partners. This person will work directly with the branded content editor, as well as collaborate with multiple teams across Well+Good. Responsibilities:

  • Write custom articles, social media copy, and supporting ad copy for sponsored content
  • Communicate directly with clients on campaign kick-off calls
  • Address client copy revisions and dictate responses to clients when necessary
  • Work closely with multiple teams at Well+Good to keep content timeline on track and ensure high standards of quality
  • Participate in concept brainstorms for upcoming campaigns

Qualifications:

  • 1–3 years writing and editing experience in a branded, editorial, or copywriting capacity
  • Familiarity with wellness brands (and passion for the wellness scene!)
  • Ability to think journalistically and apply an editorial lens to brands’ key objectives
  • Strong interest in developing great sponsored content and interested in becoming a leader in the world of branded content (not just editorial writing)
  • Desire to learn about writing for ads, video, and event signage
  • Experience writing social media copy (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter)
  • Great organizational skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, start-up environment

Director of Marketing

The Well+Good Marketing Director will be accountable for increasing advertising revenues and sponsorship sales by developing marketing programs and advertising products and services that successfully support those efforts. The role oversees a team of two digital marketers and reports into the SVP, Sales + Marketing.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and lead a team of 2 marketing staffers (and growing) who execute and support sales marketing programs. This role is responsible for developing each team member individually, cultivating a positive and collaborative team environment and for implementing and enforcing approved sales marketing strategies, policies and procedures.
    • Work closely with editorial and branded content departments to ensure alignment on editorial and marketing initiatives
    • Drive key category growth to create sell-able opportunities across the year, determining cadence of editorial and event tentpoles
    • Draft general presentations and high-level brand sales collateral
    • Develop best-in-class proposals for top-tier and high-revenue RFPs, RFIs and proactive asks
    • Own and foster key internal relationships across Account Management, Editorial, Branded Content and Video, and Events teams
    • Participate in internal and external (client-facing) kick-off meetings

Integrated Marketing Manager

In this position you will work closely with all parts of the Well+Good organization to develop and execute impactful multi-platform marketing solutions. This position includes integrated proposal writing and campaign ideation.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, write and execute cross-platform campaigns and added-value opportunities
  • Assess advertisers’ needs in creating custom, unique programs that meet clients’ objectives
  • Brainstorm and create materials for tentpole marketing programs with sales and editorial
  • Create/update gorgeous, on-brand sales materials library, including media kit, general presentation, program proposals and case studies
  • Brainstorming ideas with the sales team for sales proposals and RFPs
  • Develop relationships with third party vendors, organizations and influencers to constantly evolve and enhance program offerings.
  • Collaborate with Event Producer on event program ideation as well as event execution for larger programs
  • Manage Core Committee; creating monthly newsletter, securing sales & marketing offer each month, manage core committee calendar and communicate with editorial on their monthly messaging, offers or initiative.

Qualifications:

  • The passion for, and the ability to write creatively, effectively and with impact across all forms of communication

Account Executive

Well+Good is looking for a full-time advertising sales Account Executive. Job Description:

  • Prospect, negotiate and secure media partnerships with agencies and clients
  • Achieve quarterly sales goals and maximize all revenue and growth opportunities for Well+Good
  • Foster and nurture client relationships and be responsive, visible and relevant to designated account list
  • Create advertiser solutions/advertising proposals, partnership programs for clients and agencies

Audience Development Associate

The ideal candidate for this role will be excited about learning the ins and outs of how to grow brand audiences and to collaborate on a growing, dynamic team and brand. This person will work directly with the Audience Development Lead and Social Media Associate. Amazing communication, analytical skills and willingness to learn are key to being successful.

We’re looking for someone who is excited about crunching numbers one day, pinning content to the Well+Good Pinterest account the next day and who is passionate about the health and wellness movement.

Responsibilities:

  •  Assist Audience Development Manager with day-to-day relationships and communication with all content partners, sending weekly pitches, scheduling partner content, completing weekly partner analysis and audits
  • Work closely with the Audience Development Manager to identify and contact new and potential partners and platform opportunities (social, email, syndication)
  • Assist in executing and monitoring all email acquisition programs
  • Collaborate with the Social Media Associate to meet Pinterest traffic goals, owning all daily pinning and scheduling
  • Provide support to the Audience Development Manager and team with reporting and day to day tasks

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of relevant work experience

Client Services Manager

The Client Services Manager role is crucial to ensuring the success of digital advertising campaigns from initial ideation through implementation and delivery. The client-facing role includes daily communication with Editorial, Marketing, Operations, and Sales to ensure RFP media plan creation, insertion order generation, optimal campaign management and performance, and client retainment.

This is an integral position within an integrated media company. Responsibilities:

Senior Digital Editor (two open roles)

Well+Good, the premier lifestyle and news publication dedicated to the wellness scene, has two immediate openings for full-time editors, based in its airy and light-filled New York offices, where there may also occasionally be free green juices and coffee. These are not remote positions.

The editor will be responsible for primarily editing news and features articles, as well as managing assignments and editorial calendaring. The ideal candidate will have a passion for health + wellness, as well as experience working at an online lifestyle site. This is a fast-paced editing role. It requires stepping into the flow of a newsroom, and working alongside a smart and passionate editorial team.

The ideal candidate should also be positive, extremely organized, and adept at working under tight daily deadlines. This is the perfect opportunity for an editor who cares about wellness and journalism in equal measure.

Required experience:

  • Editing: 4 years as a top editor, news/features editor, or copy editor

Responsibilities:
