Looking for a life partner? You might want to hit the gym. And no—not because other singles necessarily prefer someone who has ripped abs. Rather, they want someone who thinks exercising—and leading a healthy lifestyle—is important, recent research found.

After surveying more than 7,000 of its members and collecting data from more than 1.2 million profiles, the online-dating platform Zoosk found that fitness-related priorities are hugely important for daters looking for love. In fact, 65 percent of the online daters reported that being with someone who exercises on the reg is a quality they value. And of the singles who work out three times a week or more, 83 percent noted it as crucial that they end up with someone who also likes sweating it out.

So, in case you needed another reason (y'know, beyond it potentially limiting your risk of dementia, staving off depression, and boosting your brain size) to throw on your favorite activewear and hit the gym, here you have it. Who knows? Your next gym sesh could even spark an IRL romantic love connection.

And just FYI: Simply rocking workout clothes in your day-to-day life might boost your dating luck, since 69 percent of singles said it's an attractive look and A-okay to wear on romantic rendezvous.
