The newest club in the Meatpacking District doesn't have a velvet rope or $18 cocktails. But it does have a lot of running shoes.

Tonight, April 10, marks the debut of the Meatpacking District Run Club, hosted by Chelsea Piers, Icebreaker, and the Meatpacking District Improvement Association.

It's free to join, and you can even stash your bags at the Icebreaker store on Washington and Gansevoort, where the group will meet every Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. now through summer.

For the run, you'll head to Pier 46 for stretching, and then split into two groups, by ability and experience, for a long and short run, both of which will stick to the streets of the Meatpacking and the paths of Hudson River Park.

And after the hour-long run, there will be perks waiting for you at the store, including drinks and snacks, a 20 percent discount on Icebreaker merchandise, and half-off a day pass to the Sports Center at Chelsea Piers.

And this Meatpacking club will leave you feeling healthier the next morning, not hungover.
