Here’s how to make an anti-inflammatory turmeric shot

Science has made it abundantly clear that your body does not like inflammation. More than being a nuisance that causes bloating, it has also been linked to autoimmune diseases and even cancer, all of which explains turmeric’s astronomical rise from run-of-the-mill pantry ingredient to wellness superstar. The spice has been widely embraced for its anti-inflammatory properties and mood-boosting ability to gift you a golden glow and whiter teeth.

While you can go for a turmeric smoothie or turmeric latte, sometimes, nothing beats the ease of a straightforward turmeric shot. Here’s a recipe from Raw Generation‘s Jessica Rosen for an anti-inflammatory shot that will boost your immune system and have you feeling ready to take on the day.

Read on to get the recipe for your new favorite turmeric shot.
