Victoria’s Secret models seem to know to work their blenders as well as they do a runway: Adriana Lima sips on an avocado-based recipe for energy, while Behati Prinsloo Levine swears by the gut-boosting power of probiotics in her yogurt-based blend. As for Candice Swanepoel, she’s all about whipping up an icy drink that gives her glowy skin.

“I’ve figured out what’s best for my body and keeping my energy up.”

“I do a nice beauty smoothie,” the model and new mom reveals in a recent interview with The Cut. “It contains coconut oil, flaxseed oil, banana, protein, some kind of antioxidant fruit like blueberries or strawberries, or some nut butter.”

She’s on to something: Antioxidants have been shown to fight skin inflammation and prevent signs of aging. But Swanepoel’s delicious concoction was no lucky accident—she came up with it only after scouring the internet for health tips. “I discovered it from doing research,” she says. “I like to be on beauty blogs. I’ve always loved nutrition, and because I’ve worked out for so many years, I’ve figured out what’s best for my body and keeping my energy up.”
