Whether it’s essentials oils, healing crystals (she loves rose quartz, FYI), or superfoods for your skin, Miranda Kerr has her wellness bases covered. Plus, as a supermodel and clean beauty advocate, the Well+Good Council member has had plenty of time to road-test healthy travel hacks over the years. Here, she shares her foolproof, in-flight tips for staying grounded and keeping her skin happy and hydrated.

I think it’s really important to take your makeup off when you’re on the plane. I always bring some wipes that I like. I’ll cleanse my face [with them], then I use a facial mist, depending on how I’m feeling. I like to mist my face with lavender or rose if I want to relax and unwind—both are really soothing and gentle—and I’ll do a meditation.

After I’ve misted my face, I’ll lather a facial oil all over my skin, and then put a balm on top of that. It’s my new favorite combination.

To me, meditation is so important. When you’re running around all the time and constantly busy, I find it’s so helpful to take some moments for yourself and just breathe. Then, it makes you more prepared to take on whatever you’re doing.

After I’ve misted my face, I’ll lather a facial oil all over my skin, and then put a balm on top of that. It’s my new favorite combination—the balm I use is incredible. It’s a super-intensive treatment that I put on while in-flight—you can mix it with a little moisturizer as well, which is nice for dry skin.
