The Eco-Friendly, Perfect-for-Fall Sneakers That Emma Watson Loves

Emma Watson is not new to the sustainable fashion game. She wore a 100 percent eco-friendly dress to the Met Gala, helped create a sustainable fashion collaboration with Zady, and is constantly calling attention to small artisan and handmade fashion brands on her Instagram.

Safe to say that in addition to superior smarts and feminist bona fides, the actress—and United Nations Women Goodwill Ambassador—can add style trendsetter to her Hermione-esque CV.

Like many style stars, Watson is a fan of the white sneaker. And in true Watson fashion, she took to Instagram to not only show off the look, but to explain the sustainability behind her Veja sneaks.

The company uses "innovative, ecological materials, working closely with the people who produce them to try and create an economical, ecological, and social difference," she writes. "These trainers use recycled plastic bottles to create the upper, and #wildrubber in the soles"—which, she explains, is an organization that seeks to increase the value of wild rubber.

A sneaker that's chic, promotes sustainability, and incorporates an on-trend '90s vibe? You don't have to ask us twice, Emma.
