Meghan Markle’s Mystically-Hued Canadian Home Is As Off the Market As She Is

Maybe it'll land on Airbnb soon.
Hear ye, hear ye royalty obsessed: In less than a week, Meghan Markle's two-story bungalow in Toronto sold for around 1.09 million, according to The New York PostThe royal-to-be rented the Canadian spot for the past two years while filming the TV show Suits.

In true trendsetting fashion, Markle's former healthy home's exterior is Pantone's color of the year, ultra-violet, a hue that has historically included a "mystical or spiritual quality," a press release from the color authority states. A walk through the inside reveals a more subdued palette of grays, whites, and blacks, plus hardwood floors, massive windows, and conceptual art. “It’s a nice thought to think, ‘Wow, Prince Harry used this toilet,’” says real estate broker Daniel Freeman, who sold the home.

Perhaps we commoners will be able to reap a weekend or so of royal treatment if this Canadian gem hits Airbnb in the near future.

Besides the fact that the future princess's old stomping grounds are practically bubbling with sentimental value (I mean, it is where she lived while falling for the Prince!), Markle writes on her blog, The Tig, that the beachy abode helped her make it through the bite of “seven Canadian winters.” Of course, her beloved's arms probably helped in the staying-warm department.

The cherry (or shall we say crown) atop this royal affair? Markle now lives in a fairy-tale-style cottage, and come May, she'll be a princess. But perhaps we commoners will be able to reap a weekend or so of royal treatment if this Canadian gem hits Airbnb in the near future.
