You know the boutique fitness scene is white hot when celebrities are migrating from private personal training sessions to packed high-energy group classes with the rest of us.
Of course, once a bold-faced name is spotted getting his or her sweat on, the studio’s level of cool goes up a notch, creating a celeb currency in the fitness world that used to be reserved for night clubs and scene-y restaurants.
After all, celebrities who show off their sculpted bodies after spin sessions automatically become brand ambassadors—whether they’re on the payroll or not.
So we conducted an inventory of the celebs associated with some of the city’s top studios. (We focused on celebs who are—or were at one time—regulars, not one-time attendees.)
