Okay, ladies, now let’s get in formation.
And by formation, we mean get in line: Beyoncé’s highly anticipated women’s activewear collection will be available online and in stores starting April 14.
The megastar announced the launch last week in classic Queen Bey fashion: with an Instagram photo of herself draped inside a set of steel rings, captioned @weareivypark. And consider it an instant hit; within an hour of its launch, the Ivy Park Instagram account was already at 26,000 followers and counting (now it clocks in at 125k).
And while it was initially announced that the line would be a collaboration with Topshop, Ivy Park will be available at other retailers as well, including Nordstrom, Net-A-Porter, and a handful of shops in the UK, Asia, Australia, and the United Arab Emirates.
But don’t expect to see any of the high-cut sequin leotards we’re used to seeing Beyoncé sport onstage. The athleisure line features leggings in three rises, crop tops, drop-arm tees, sweatshirts, and technical jackets—all fully functional for workouts and happy hour alike. And the line—which ranges in size from XXS to XXL, The Cut reports—comes with a message we can get behind: “Ivy Park empowers women through sport—no matter what your sporting ability or body shape,” according to Topshop.
