If you’ve ever found yourself waiting in line at Whole Foods and thought, “Man, if only I had time to grocery shop and get a tattoo tonight,” you’re in luck. Really. Whole Foods Market Inc.’s new “Friends of 365” spin-off is introducing some millennial-friendly tactics to get shoppers excited. And yes, that includes a potential in-store tattoo parlor.
According to its website, Friends of 365 is on the hunt for cool vendors—everything from body-care product sellers, record shops, and tattoo parlors—to set up shop inside stores and on the outdoor patios.
The new locations will help the brand “reach more communities than we would be able to with our mother ship,” Whole Foods Market co-CEO Walter Robb told Bloomberg TV. “It’s going to be unique.” The first 365 by Whole Foods Market will open in May in Los Angeles.
