Now that By Chloe has a Los Angeles foothold (in Silver Lake’s 365 by Whole Foods), it looks like the vegan comfort food cult fave is looking to expand closer to home in New York City. On the heels of the brand’s new bakery—Sweets by Chloe, which debuted in September in Greenwich Village—there will new By Chloe restaurants opening in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, and Rockefeller Center in early 2017.
“We’re truly excited to be expanding to new neighborhoods throughout New York City and bringing By Chloe into Brooklyn!” says Samantha Wasser, the brand’s president, co-founder and creative director.
So, what’s on the menu for Rockefeller Center and the the first outerborough By Chloe (which will be at 173 North 3rd St.)? Expect to see your faves from chef and co-owner Chloe Coscarelli—guac burgers FTW!—but the company is looking at creating some menu offerings specific to each location.
Still don’t have a By Chloe near you? That might change soon. The brand is still expanding, Wasser says: “We are opening two locations in Boston as well as the new location at the seaport here in New York City in 2017, but as of right now it’s just one day at a time!”
